What genre do you prefare,Grunge or Metal?

For me,I gotta say Grunge,that gnre had Nirvana,Alice in
Chains,Mudhoney,The Melvins,Screaming Trees,Babes in Toyland etc.
Metal has some pretty good bands,Metallica etc. but I went with Grunge
because,well,that's what I grew up listing to as a teenager ;)

So what do you guys think?
