Real-Existence Thieves Stole Heist Techniques From 'The Town'
Simplest method to know how make the most of a bank? Watch 'The Town,' apparently. Five males in NY were just billed having a string of robberies allegedly inspired with the 2010 drama directed by and starring Film Clip. The NYPD pointed out the audience used the majority of the techniques proven inside the film, including cutting energy for his or her target's store and splashing bleach onto Automatic teller machines and money drawers to get rid of DNA evidence. In May, bank thieves in Chicago used the identical nun costumes that Affleck and Jeremy Renner found in the film. The NY crew are apparently responsible for 62 robberies since August 2010. An NYPD representative mentioned the actual-existence crooks made offered by $217,000 after gradually wrecking delis, pizzerias together with other stores in Brooklyn and Queens. Since 'The Town' was released in September of 2010, the NY crew have been in operation just before the film showed up in this area. While Affleck got great reviews for 'The Town,' his second directorial effort, and Renner received an Oscar nomination, guess we didn't realize exactly how inspiring this movie really was.
